The Buyogan Festival is celebrated every August, with the main attractions including colorful costumes worn by the students of Buyogan, a small town near Ormoc. This festival is named after the buyog or bees, which is also the theme of this event. Dance competitions are part of this festival where the participants aim to imitate the movement of the bees.
